You do NOT need a referral. In the state of Wisconsin, Occupational Therapy is a direct access service, meaning that you do not need a referral for an evaluation and treatment by an occupational therapist. You make the decision to obtain OT services. ​ If you are hoping to submit your claim to your insurance provider for reimbursement, your insurance provider may require a referral from your provider for Occupational Therapy services. In that case, you will need a referral or order from your provider before your initial appointment. ​ Referrals may be accepted from ​a physician, dentist, podiatrist, advanced practice nurses, chiropractors, optometrists, physical therapists, physician assistants, psychologists, or other health care professionals.

Evaluations cost $180.00 60 min follow-up appointments cost $120.00. 45 minute appointments are $90.00. Your length of appointment will depend on individual needs and therapy goals. Pricing is for both occupational and speech therapy services, current as of January 2024. Payment may be made by cash, check, or cards. Payment is due at time of service. Wonderland Therapy also accepts HSA/FSA funds and can provide an itemized receipt, if you would like to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider.

At this time, we are not accepting insurance. There are many benefits to this model, including: No wait time -you can be seen in a matter of days! No limits on session frequency, length, or duration from insurance policies. Consistency- the same provider every session! Motivation- you are choosing to pay for this service. I'm invested in seeing success, and you're invested in seeing success. This is a win-win. We are able to provide you with information that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement, after services are provided and payment has been made to Wonderland Therapy. ​ Accepted forms of payment include: Credit/debit card, check, or cash. Additionally, you may be eligible to use your HSA/FSA funds. ​ All payments are due at the time of service.

A: Yes- Teletherapy services are available to all clients in the state of Wisconsin. Due to therapy licensing, we are unable to provide virtual services outside of the state of WI.

If you wish to submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement, you will be provided proof of payment, a "super bill" that includes the necessary and appropriate codes, as well as any further supporting documentation requested by your insurance company. Reimbursement is not guaranteed. It is most consistent with Out of Network provider rates. It is recommended to contact your insurance company prior to your appointment to determine whether Out of Network provider services are covered and at what rate.
